Cardwell Grandchildren
Ok, you are probably looking at this picture wondering if I put this picture on here by mistake.......and the answer is NO! I just wanted to let you know how hard it is to get 7 children under the age of 10 in the picture and to be still! (Hayden 10, Kelsey 7, Andrew 16 mths, Luke 4 1/2, Lydia 2, Timothy 1 week and Cooper 1 yr.) This is another one of those pictures that we try to do every year after the Christmas Eve service at church.........and it does not work out!! HAHA!! Ohhh well, in MANY MANY years we will maybe have the "perfect" Christmas Eve grandchildren picture, but until then.....we just have to laugh!! (The sad thing is that this is the "BEST" one of all of them!! HAHA!!)
Christmas Eve pictures at Church
Every year on Christmas Eve, we go to church for the Lord's Supper. We always stay afterwards and take some pictures in the sanctuary. It is always decorated so pretty. Here is our family picture for this year. I love looking back at the years in the past and seeing how much we have all changed!
So Blessed...
WOW! I just look at this picture and all I can think about is....WOW!! I am so blessed to be the mother of these 3 beautiful children! I feel so privileged that God has blessed us with them. I pray that he will guide me to be the very best mother that I can be and for them to grow up knowing that I will always love them more than they can imagine!
Ok, so I got the most awesome gift from my wonderful husband.............a new camera! It is one of my favorite gifts from him ever..........well.....it is hard to say that......he is so good at buying wonderful gifts.........ANYWAY..........It takes the BEST pictures ever! Here is a close up face shot of Drew that I took with it! I just LOVE it! There will be so many more wonderful pictures to come...............:)(A special THANKS to Molly Beth for talking him into it!!)
Our VERY special stockings!
Here is a picture of one of my favorite "married" Christmas decorations. It is our stockings! They are so special to me! Heath's Grandmother, "Mammy" hand sewn every one of these stockings except Andrew's. Molly made Andrew's because Mammy's eyes were getting so bad she could not sew anymore! She would put different items on each stocking that pertains to that person, but all of them have a BLUE BIRD on them called the "Blue Bird of Happiness". Molly & Tra also had a set of stockings for their house too. Also, before Mammy & Papa went to Merrill Gardens they had a set of stockings at their house for each family member also! I will cherish these stockings forever! :)
